Only 1953 of these anniversary editions were ever made they were built to commemorate the famous Porsche 550 of 1953. It comes with upgraded 18 inch seal grey Carerra wheels, aluminium brake callipers, 5mm wheel spacers all round, chromium plated Boxster S lettering at the rear, an on-board computer, Litronic headlamps with dynamic beam angle adjustment and sports suspension that is lower than the standard Boxster by 10mm. This not only means the already impressive Boxster is even better at handling than the standard model but also has a fantastic look to it that truly does imitate the 550 of the 1950's. The 3.2 litre flat 6 is a smooth and direct as when it first rolled out of the showroom thanks to the care that has gone into this car and the ultra low mileage of only 25,000 miles since new. The naturally aspirated 3.2-liter flat-six engine increases the power by 6 bhp to 266 bhp making it the most powerful iteration of the 986 that was made.
